Mood: waitin for the next blow!
5th October 2003
Windsurfing: Ynslas Estuary
Wind Direction: W - SW
Wind Stength: 20knotts +
Surf / Sea State: relatively flat
Air Temperature: 13 C
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: Rain/stormy
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

First of all had to help rig my mates kit together as they are relatively knew to the sport and then rigged my own Lodey 4.5 m sail as I knew conditions were strong to my Bic Rumba. As soon as I set off, I was planin and straight into the harness, had some amazing runs building some tremendous speed. Found it quite gusty nearer towards the shoreline because of the shelter from the dunes so handling became a bit tricky. All the time the wind seemed to be picking up but it was awesome fun. Had a go on my mates 4.7m and Hifly board for a bit, it seemed so much faster than mine. Ideally could of done with my Astro Rock but Im gonna have to repair it before I can use it. Eventually had to call it a day with darkness approaching. Its a good thing I did pack in then, conditions seemed to be gettin to strong by the end of it but in all was an excellent session. Ashame we all didnt go out earlier.
